Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramic Tiles are manufactured by high-temperature sintering of SiC powder, offering exceptional hardness, outstanding wear resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. With high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion, they withstand temperatures up to 1600°C (inert atmosphere) or 1000°C (oxidizing environment).

Although inherently brittle, they are ideal for demanding applications such as mechanical seals, chemical processing equipment, and metallurgical furnace components in high-temperature, corrosive, and abrasive conditions

1) RBSiC vs SSiC: which should I choose?
Use RBSiC for most industrial liners thanks to low apparent porosity and strong flexural strength at reasonable cost. Choose SSiC for highest purity, gas-tightness or temperature exposure approaching ~1600 °C.
General duty: 10–20 mm. Heavy impact: 20–30 mm with steel-backed plates and studs. High-temp ducts can use 6–12 mm bonded directly with high-temp cement.
Yes. Rubber-backed panels absorb impact and simplify installation. Steel-backed studded plates allow quick change-outs in severe service.

Yes. We supply curved and pie-segment tiles to match your radius and angle, including cyclone entry and cone sections.

RBSiC liners are often used up to ~1350 °C in air. Dense SSiC can run to ~1600 °C depending on load and atmosphere. Choose high-temp cements/anchors accordingly.
Hex sheets are excellent for curved or irregular surfaces and reduce straight-line joints where wear can concentrate. Squares are efficient on flat, large panels.

Yes. Dimpled or raised-face tiles are available for anti-slip and turbulence control in high-slope chutes. Typical small formats include 20×20 mm and 20×30 mm.

Yes. SiC shows excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and oxidizing environments. For aggressive chemistry at temperature, SSiC is recommended.
Substrate material and thickness, process temperature, particle size/velocity, chemical exposure, preferred attachment (adhesive, rubber-backed, steel studs), tile size/thickness and drawing of the area.
Armor-grade SSiC tiles are available upon request with higher flexural strength and hardness requirements; multi-hit solutions can blend SiC with B4C depending on threat level.
